URGENT - Information for the childcare of atleast one key worker

22nd Mar 2020

From Tuesday, we will start to facilitate a limited opening for the children of at least one key worker. This is with the sole purpose of facilitating those key workers remaining in work to help fight the virus for all of us.

However, this should ONLY be used by key workers when there are NO OTHER VIABLE OPTIONS for childcare.

We want to keep the number of children being looked after to a minimum, as we need to ensure social distancing of 2 metres per person and no sharing of equipment.

1. Do not send your child to school if you are not a key worker

2. Do not send your child to school if he/she has one of the underlying conditions laid out by the PHA, such as asthma.

3. Do not send your child to school if you are self-isolating.

4. Do not send your child to school if they are living in a household with vulnerable others.
School must only be a last resort.

Please make alternative arrangements to look after your child through a partner/relative/other. This is a worrying time for all of us and we must ensure the health and safety of all. We thank you for your patience.

News changes hourly and we are doing our very best to communicate and facilitate these changes.

Please contact the school between 9am-12noon tomorrow to register your child.
It is essential that you follow all of the guidance above
