Upcoming Christmas events
December is a busy and exciting month at our school, filled with festive activities for pupils and families.
On Tuesday 3rd December, at 7pm our P5-7 choir will perform at St. Comgall's with The Ulster Orchestra and Black Mountain Primary School, showcasing their wonderful Christmas repertoire. Parents are invited to join us.
The following day, on the 4th December, we are hosting our school open day from 2-3pm and again from 6-7pm. We warmly invite parents of nursery school children to visit and learn about our fantastic school and our excellent academic provision.
Our P6 class taught by Mr Manning will attend The Lyric Theatre on Wednesday 4th December to watch a Christmas Show 'A Christmas Carol'. Thank you to a private donor for covering the cost of tickets and buses.
On 10th December, our P1-4 pupils will present their much-anticipated Christmas show at St. Peter's Cathedral at 1.30pm, a highlight of the season. Parents are welcome to join us. Children in P1-4 will go home at the end of their performance.
The fun continues for our P1 & P2 children who will attend a Winter Wonderland Event in Divis Community Centre on 11th December during school.
On 12th December at 11am, our P5-7 children will be attending St. Comgall's to watch the pantomime, with the school covering the cost of tickets via a private donor!
Friday, 13th December, will be our children’s Christmas dinner day, where pupils are encouraged to add a festive touch to their uniforms, such as a Christmas jumper, headband, socks or Santa hat - we are pleased to announce that we are again covering the cost!!
The following week, on 17th December, our P4 pupils will visit St. Comgall’s at 11am for the pantomime, again we have funding from a private donor to cover the cost.
Our 2 P5 classes, as part of our Belfast Creates Project, will attend the The Sorcerer's Apprentice Pantomime by Cahoots NI. Theatre space at the Cityside Retail Park at 12.30pm on 17th December. We have funding to cover the cost of this fantastic day out.
A reminder to all parents: after-school clubs will finish for the term on 6th December, so please ensure arrangements for pick-up are in place.
