This morning The Sunshine Room had it’s first ‘Play and Stay’ session. Everyone had a spooktacular time making Hallow’en pumpkin fridge magnets with Ihintz from The Whiterock Children’s Centre!!! All you need are 10 lollipop sticks, glue, paint, funky foam, sequins and a little bit of magnetic tape, ohhh and lots of imagination. First line up 8 lollipop sticks and stick a lollipop stick on the back at the top and at the bottom. Then turn your eight lollipop sticks over and paint the front orange, green or purple. Next cut out 3 triangles for the pumpkin eyes and nose and cut out a scary mouth from the funky foam and stick them on your pumpkin shape. After that collect or cut out a leaf shape and add it to the top of your pumpkin. Finally add some Hallowe’en sequin decorations on the front of your pumpkin and stick the magnetic tape on the back of your pumpkin. Enjoy making your spooktacular Halloween fridge magnet!!!
