School closed on Wed 17th Jan

16th Jan 2018

Dear parents/carers,
I wanted to let you know at the earliest convenience that the school will be closed tomorrow, Wednesday, January 17th.
I wanted to make this decision at the earliest possible time to allow for child care arrangements etc. to be put in place.
I have made this decision in light of the current Amber Weather Warning, and primarily in the interests of the health and safety of parents, pupils and staff travelling to and from school.
I am aware that this is not the first time that we have been forced to close this academic year. It is never an easy decision to make but I do have a duty of care to our children, our parents and our staff. It is this duty that has brought about this decision tonight.
I apologise for the inconvenience and I again, thank you for your understanding in this matter.
