Return to school for P1-P3

Dear Parents/Carers,

I hope this letter finds you well. As you are aware the Department of Education has planned a phased return of pupils in Year 1-3.

  • From 8th March until 19th March pupils in P1 to P3 will return to full-time face-to-face teaching.
  • School will be closed on 17th March for St Patrick’s Day and will reopen on 18th  
  • From 22ndMarch until the Easter break children in P1-P3 will move once again to online learning.  
  • From Monday 12thApril (after the Easter break) children in Years 1-3 will return to school for full-time face-to-face teaching.
  • Free school meals will be available for children in P1-3. Children not on free school meals can purchase a meal on our app or bring a lunch
  • It is essential that all parents wear a mask when queueing outside of our school and keep 2 metres apart.
  • Children MUST NOT attend school if anyone at home is showing Covid symptoms, is being tested or has a positive covid test result. It is essential that we are kept informed.
  • Children in P1 & P3 will enter via the front gates at the school.
  • Children in P2 will enter via the rear gates.
  • It is ESSENTIAL that all children arrive and are collected at their allocated time (see below)

The return to school before and after Easter, does not yet include children in P4-7. Children in these year groups will continue with online learning.

Our P4-P7 supervised sessions in school for both vulnerable and children of key workers will continue as normal. Children attending the sessions should bring a packed lunch or purchase a meal on our app. Free school meals will not be provided for supervised sessions.
