Parent representative on our Board of Governors - Nominations now OPEN

12th Nov 2024

Would you like to serve as a parent representative on our Board of Governors?

Parent governors have the same powers, duties and responsibilities as all other governors. As a governor, they are expected to act in the interests of all children at the school and attend meetings.

The Board of Governors plays an increasingly important role in the administrative and curricular life of the school. A new Board is appointed every four years and it includes representatives from the Education Authority, Parents, Teachers and Community.

Nominations now open!

  • Candidates must have a child at our school and be nominated by at least one other parent and seconded by another.

Nomination forms available from the school office.

If you would like to put yourself forward then collect a nomination form from the school office.

Nominations must be returned by Thursday 28th November at 3pm.

Clerk of election: Mr McCann will manage the process in partnership with Fr Martin Graham.
