Collaboration through Sharing in Education CASE: PEACE IV Shared Education

I am pleased to inform you that this year, St. Joseph’s P.S. Slate St, Belfast and Black Mountain P.S. Belfast are going to be involved in a CASE shared education project. Shared education is about schools from different sectors, providing opportunities for pupils, staff and the community to engage in collaborative and meaningful learning experiences.

This will mean the two schools will be working together to provide exciting new learning experiences, they will share staff expertise and resources. The schools have received a considerable amount of money to run the programmes. Each child involved is required to have 30 hours contact time with children from the other school. It will require children to learn together in each school and outside the classroom.
