Help us to help those less fortunate than us at Christmas - our annual hampers for homeless

11th Dec 2019

Christmas Giving Project 2019

As you are aware, we in St. Joseph’s Primary School endeavour to instil a strong sense of community and sharing through all areas of our teaching. We help the children to appreciate that they are much better off than many others and should do their best to support those who are less fortunate than them.

As part of our Christmas Giving Project we plan to distribute toiletry items and treats to the homeless community in Belfast.

To enable us to take this project forward we have designated every class with an item for every child to bring into school

Only ONE item per family as we know Christmas is an expensive time for families

P1 – Toothpaste

P2 – Face Wipes

P3 - Toothbrush

P4 – Shampoo

P5 - Socks (men or women)

P6 – Shower Gel

P7 - Packet of biscuits or chocolates

Boxes will be placed in every classroom so children can drop items off. We would be very grateful if items could be sent into school as soon as possible to allow us time to parcel them up for Christmas.

All of the collected items will be distributed to the homeless community.

Thank you for your continued support and co-operation.
