Going on a fossil hunt 🦕
Dinosaur 🦕 habitats: Our P4 children have been learning about Dinosaurs, their habitats and the mass extinction that followed. Each child was tasked with creating a Dinosaur habitat using a shoe box!! We could not believe the level of detail put into each one; these projects should be exhibited in a museum! Fantastic effort by our P4s. Well done 👏👏👏👏👏
Why do we teach children about Dinosaurs?
Research on dinosaurs gives us more information about different ecosystems and insights into evolution. Encouraging children to learn about dinosaur fossils helps us understand how extinction has happened over time and how the diversity of species has recovered after a mass extinction!
