Gaelic CHAMPIONS!!!!!!!!!
We are delighted to announce that we were the WINNING team at the Inaugural Michael Davitt GAC Schools Gaelic Football Tournament yesterday! .
The tournament followed a Round Robin format where each team played each other once and were awarded 2 points for a win and 1 point for a draw. Hard work, resilience and determination were the vital ingredients we required to be CHAMPIONS.
We could not be more proud of our boys and girls performance and attitude yesterday; when the going got tuff they dug in and kept going and didn’t stop until they lifted the cup.
Many thanks to our school coaching team for helping our children be the BEST both on and off the pitch........ we also had a sneaky bribe...................
Mr McCann promised the team a KFC for draw and a McDonalds for a win! He’s currently on the M1 on his way to buy a dozen Happy Meals!!
