Craters on the moon experiment

16th Oct 2020

👩‍🚀 🚀 Young scientist in action trying to discover why there are various sizes of craters on the moon. The children used various sizes and weights of balls to make craters in moon dust(flour). They measured the different depths the balls made in centimetres. Their research found that the marble made the biggest crater even though it was the smallest ball! They concluded that this was because it was the heaviest object. Great fun was had by all of our junior scientists! Someone phone NASA Earth! Our scientists are ready to help out 👩‍🚀
