📏 Lines of symmetry learning

15th May 2024
📏 P4 have enjoyed experimenting with lines of symmetry this morning! Lines of symmetry are imaginary lines that divide an object into two equal halves, where each half is a mirror image of the other. Objects with more lines of symmetry have more ways they can be divided into equal halves. For example, a square has four lines of symmetry, while a circle has infinitely many, as any diameter can act as a line of symmetry.
